Cộng đồng khá rộng lớn
Phải công nhận WPBakery được rất nhiều người dùng WordPress lựa chọn, ở thời điểm này họ có đến 2 triệu lượt cài đặt trên toàn thế giới.
Riêng ở Việt Nam mình cũng thấy rất nhiều bạn quan tâm đến plugin này tại các diễn đàn cũng như một số Blog của bạn bè.
Hãy gõ từ khóa “cách dùng WPBakery Page Builder” bạn sẽ thấy rất nhiều kết quả bằng Tiếng Việt.
Vì vậy nên cơ hội học tập trao đổi cũng như giúp đỡ nhau các vấn đề trong quá trình sử dụng khá là thuận lợi thay vì những plugin page builder được ít người sử dụng.

Tuy nhiên không phải ai cũng có suy nghĩ như mình, thay vào đó một lựa chọn khác để bạn có được WPBakery với giá rẻ hơn & nhiều giá trị hơn.
(Đừng có nghĩ tới các sản phẩm nulled hoặc mua lại với giá rẻ ở đâu nhé – mã độc sẽ nuốt chửng website của bạn.)
Thay vì mua trực tiếp bạn sẽ mua các theme trả phí được tích hợp WPBakery, do nằm trong hệ thống themeForest nên rất nhiều sản phẩm tích hợp plugin này với giá rất rẻ.
Ví dụ như The7 (theme huyền thoại đối với cá nhân mình), với $39 bạn sẽ có một Theme bản quyền cao cấp kèm WPBakery (giá $64), bên cạnh đó còn có Ultimate addon (giá $26) & rất nhiều plugin cao cấp khác trị giá cả trăm $.
Đó là lý do nhiều bạn chọn hướng mua Theme để được kèm plugin, về cơ bản đó là chiến dịch Marketing của họ nên bạn đã bị dính chưởng. Nhưng bạn không cần quan tâm là gì, đồ ngon giá rẻ là được.

Mua một lần dùng cả đời
Giá rẻ & nhiều giá trị đã quá đủ thuyết phục bạn mua rồi, tuy nhiên các sản phẩm trên Themeforest còn cố gắng làm bạn hài lòng hơn nữa.
Thay vì mua plugin Page Builder ở Elementor, Beaver Builder bạn sẽ mất vài chục cho đến vài trăm $ nhưng chỉ nhận được 1 năm hỗ trợ & cập nhật tự động. Hết thời gian đó bạn cần gia hạn để cập nhật tính năng mới.
Nhưng với WPBakery thì khác, bạn sẽ được cập nhật tự động trọn đời miễn Website của bạn còn sống thì vẫn được update các tính năng mới nhất khi nhà cung cấp phát hành phiên bản mới.
Câu chuyện của mình với WPBakery
Nói một chút về chuyện của mình biết đâu bạn có thể học hỏi một chút gì đó & rút ra kinh nghiệm cho bản thân.
Cũng như bạn, trong những ngày đầu tiếp xúc với WordPress mình được một số Blogger đi trước giới thiệu về theme/plugin bản quyền trả phí.
Do mới biết về công cụ làm Website không cần lập trình cũng như tính tò mò các Website có nhiều tính năng. Vậy là mình tìm đến WPBakery & cũng như biết được một số theme có tích hợp nó.
Chẳng hiểu sao mình lại “me” The7, lúc đó mình chưa có nhiều kinh nghiệm về Marketing cũng như mua hàng kỹ thuật số nên thấy The7 có giá $39. Thế là sợ hôm sau nó lên giá nên tranh thủ ra ngân hàng nạp tiền mua luôn. Lúc mua xong thì thích lắm (vì lần đầu dùng sản phẩm cao cấp mà).
Mình cài đặt & tìm cách cấu hình theme sau đó mới cài plugin & dùng WPBakery. Và diễn biến tiếp theo như bạn cũng biết mình chia sẻ ở trên.
Nó có quá nhiều thứ để làm việc nên mình mất rất nhiều thời gian tìm hiểu.
Khoảng 3-5 tháng sau mình dành phần lớn thời gian mò cách dùng sao cho giao diện đẹp nhất. Và đây coi như một sai lầm lớn nhất trong hành trình phát triển Website của mình.
Khi thấy giao diện tạm được mình bắt đầu viết những bài đầu tiên, mình nhớ không lầm có bài mẹo chọn tên miền.

Hiểu một cách đơn giản WPBakery Page Builder là một plugin WordPress hỗ trợ người dùng tạo ra các trang kéo thả mà không cần có kiến thức lập trình Web.
Sản phẩm này được cung cấp dưới dạng Premium (trả phí) & được bán trên ThemeForest – một thị trường sản phẩm kỹ thuật số cao cấp.
WPBakery Page Builder được rất nhiều người biết đến vì nó thường nằm trong top những sản phẩm bán chạy nhất cũng phổ biến nhất. (Tại thời điểm này nó đứng top 2)
Nhưng đừng vội phán xét nó là một plugin tốt chỉ vì nó đứng top nhé!

Những khuyết điểm khi dùng WPBakery
Nếu ở trên bạn đã thấy được những điểm tốt của WPBakery, bây giờ chúng ta sẽ nói về những điều hạn chế của plugin này.
Khó sử dụng
Mặc dù WPBakery được tạo ra với mục đích giúp bạn tạo trang đơn giản ngay cả khi không biết lập trình. Nhưng điều đó không có nghĩa nó dễ dàng sử dụng.
Thật sự mà nói mình thấy plugin này cực kỳ phức tạp từ các cấu hình chung cho tới cấu hình từng element của Website.
Ví dụ như các Element hộp lật, Tab, Post Grid tùy biến khá phức tạp dù bạn có ở giao diện Front-end.
Nếu lần đầu tiếp xúc với WPBakery mình chắc chắc bạn sẽ dành vài tuần cho đến vài tháng để tự vọc vạch mới sử dụng được mọi thứ (mình chưa nói tới vấn đề thuần thục).
Khó tạo ra được các giao diện hoàn hảo
Tuy WPBakery Page Builder có rất nhiều tính năng xây dựng giao diện nhưng mình thấy nó khá thiếu thốn các tùy chọn cấu hình phổ biến.
Ví dụ đơn giản như hiệu ứng đổ bóng (shadow) để làm nổi bật một đối tượng thực sự rất khó làm trên WPBakery & như bạn cũng thấy đa phần các chi tiết trên Blog của mình cũng như rất nhiều Website khác hiện nay lại thường xuyên dùng hiệu ứng đổ bóng.
Hãy nói về Divi Builder, khi muốn thêm hiệu ứng đổ bóng cho đối tượng bạn chỉ cần click một cái đã xong.
Nếu bạn nghĩ dùng WPBakery & tạo ra một trang như NamDenRoi.Com thì mình e rằng bạn sẽ thất vọng dù bạn có là một chuyên gia về HTML hoặc CSS đi chăng nữa.
Khả năng tương thích với nhiều theme rất kém
Trước khi dùng WPBakery bạn nên biết nhược điểm chết người này.
Thực tế thỉnh thoảng bạn cần thay đổi giao diện cho phù hợp với trải nghiệm người dùng. Vì vậy bạn cần thay đổi một Theme khác.
Với những theme được tích hợp thì mình không bàn, nhưng với một theme xa lạ bên ngoài thị trường ThemeForest thường sẽ phát sinh các rắc rồi.
Cụ thể bạn sẽ gặp vấn đề không tương thích giữa theme & plugin nên sẽ đẫn đến tình trạng Website bị hỏng giao diện.
Vì vậy, WPBakery chỉ hoạt động tốt với các theme trên ThemeForest hay tốt nhất là những theme tích hợp liền mạch với nó khi mua. Đây là một trong các nguyên nhân tạo nên sự ràng buộc kiến bạn không thể thay đổi giao diện hoặc plugin.
Code nặng nề & tải chậm
Mặc dù khi ở trang giới thiệu WPBakery họ nói sản phẩm được tối ưu hóa code, nhẹ nhàng, load nhanh,…bla…bla.
Tuy nhiên khi trải nghiệm rồi bạn mới thấy thực tế & quảng cáo khác nhau thế nào. Trang của bạn dù nặng hay nhẹ mình đảm bảo sẽ mất khoảng 5 -10s để tải dù đã dùng plugin bộ nhớ cache.
Thật kinh khủng so với tiêu chuẩn thời gian trung bình 3s phải không?
Thật sự WPBakery được tối ưu hóa rất tệ so với các plugin Page Builder khác trên thị trường. Nó dùng khá nhiều Javascripts cũng như yêu cầu rất nhiều tài nguyên từ máy chủ mỗi lần tải.
Chưa kể mấy ông dùng Hosting chất lượng kém bị giới hạn băng thông, có khi chưa hết tháng mà băng thông đã hết trước.
Và đừng quên tốc độ tải rất quan trọng đến SEO, nếu bạn muốn xếp hạng cao trên công cụ tìm kiếm mình nghĩ sẽ rất khó với WPbakery.

Tuy nhiên nếu bạn muốn tiết kiệm chi phí cho các sản phẩm WordPress & nhận được cập nhật trọn đời, trước mắt có thể tìm một theme được được tích hợp WPBakery, sau này có nhu cầu thì có thể thay đổi. Nhưng chắc chắn mất rất nhiều thời gian để gỡ shortcode.

Hướng dẫn sử dụng các Content Element của Visual Composer
Bạn sẽ hoàn toàn có thể sử dụng Visual Composer vì những hướng dẫn vô cùng rõ ràng và dễ hiểu, chủ yếu là hai thao tác kéo – thả.
Chúng ta có thể hiểu các khối nội dung bất kỳ đều là các hình chữ nhật, có thể đặt cạnh hoặc lồng vào nhau. Bạn có thể thực hiện các thao tác liên quan đến các thuộc tính của đường viên, ảnh nền, màu nền, hiệu ứng, các lề,…
Giao diện trang web sẽ được chia thành các hàng và cột giống như Microsoft Excel. Sau đó, bạn sẽ sắp xếp khối hình chữ nhật đó vào các hàng, cột. Đối với các khối nội dung, bạn có thể điền giá trị, lựa chọn giá trị sẵn có, bấm nút hoặc các thao tác khác. Chính vì giao diện trực quan, khi nhìn vào bạn đã có thể thực hiện theo hướng dẫn thế nên cũng sẽ không có bất kỳ vấn đề gì nếu như bạn không biết về code.
Các khối nội dung chính trong Visual Composer
- Row – Hàng: Đây là một trong hai thành phần cơ bản nhất của Visual Composer. Khi thêm bất kỳ một hàng nào vào web, bạn sẽ có thể chỉnh được số cột mà hàng đó đi qua. Và các khối nội dung sẽ nằm trong một cột bất kỳ của hàng.
Tại giao diện backend, khi bạn thêm một khối (add element), rồi chọn Row trong danh sách khối nội dung, bạn sẽ thêm 1 hàng vào trang web như hình dưới:

- 1 và 2 (dấu cộng): Thêm một khối nội dung.
- 3: Chia hàng thành ba cột bằng nhau tùy vào biến số cột trong một hàng, độ rộng của một Hàng là 1 đơn vị.
- 4: Kéo – thả để di chuyển khối nội dung.
- 5: Thu hoặc mở một hàng.
- 6: Chỉnh sửa các thuộc tính của element.
- 7: Nhân bản khối nội dung.
- 8: Xóa khối nội dung.

- 1: Dấu + để thêm khối vào cột.
- 2: Dấu + bên trên chèn một Khối vào trước một Khối có sẵn trong Cột.
- 3: Dấu + bên dưới sẽ chèn một Khối vào sau một Khối có sẵn trong Cột.
- 4: Chỉnh sửa Cột.
- 5: Xóa Cột, với hình này nếu bấm vào Hàng sẽ còn 2 Cột, độ rộng vẫn là 1/3 đơn vị.
- 6: Di chuột qua biểu tượng này sẽ tùy biến lại số Cột (nếu muốn).

Bạn có thể thấy chia 3 cột cực nhanh, cột đầu chưa thêm nội dung nên đang trống.
- Text Block: Khối văn bản (Text) có sử dụng trình chỉnh sửa WYSIWYG (là trình chỉnh sửa với các công cụ như Word) Cũng giống hệt trình chỉnh sửa mặc định của WordPress.
- Icon: Biểu tượng đặc biệt từ các thư viện biểu tượng đẹp như Font Awesome. Các icon này rất đặc biệt, không phải dạng ảnh, mà nó giống font chữ. Có thể tùy chỉnh cỡ thước và màu sắc cho icon như chỉnh font chữ.
- Separator: Đường phân cách ngang. Có nhiều dạng cho bạn chọn như solid (nét liền), dashed (nét đứt), dotted (nét chấm) v.v…Và cho phép chỉnh độ dày của nét.
- Separator with Text: Tương tự trên, nhưng cho phép bạn thêm cả đoạn Text vào giữa đường phân cách. Kèm theo cả 1 icon tùy chỉnh nếu thích.
- Message Box: Tạo 1 khối thông báo có màu nền + icon + văn bản. Mục đích thường dùng để nhấn mạnh 1 thông báo nào đó.
- FAQ: Một khối có khả năng mở rộng – thu hẹp được nội dung khi bấm vào nó. Thường được dùng để tạo Câu hỏi thường gặp, giúp tiết kiệm diện tích trang web.
- Single Image: Tạo khối ảnh đơn kèm theo hiệu ứng hiển thị đẹp mắt.
- Image Gallery: Tạo bộ sưu tập, gồm nhiều hình xếp cạnh nhau, với thiết kế Responsive.
- Image Carousel: Khối nhiều ảnh, nhưng chỉ xem được từng ảnh một. Chuyển qua lại giữa các ảnh với hiệu ứng trượt đẹp mắt.
- Tabs: Tạo tab nội dung ngang, giúp tiết kiệm diện tích hiển thị. Có thể cho các khối khác trong Danh sách Khối Nội Dung vào trong các tab này.
- Tour: Tương tự như trên nhưng đây là tạo tab nội dung dọc.
- Accordion: Tạo khối có thể thu hẹp – mở rộng nội dung bên trong. Gần giống với khối FAQ ở trên.
- Custom Heading: Tạo tiêu đề kèm tùy chỉnh font chữ. Đặc biệt được tích hợp thư viện Google Fonts đẹp mắt.
- Button: Tạo nút bấm với đường link, action hay các tùy chọn khác. Có thể thêm icon vào các vị trí khác nhau trên nút. Có thể tùy chỉnh các kiểu nút như 3D, Flat… rồi bo tròn góc hay vuông góc.
- Call to Action: Tạo khối kêu gọi hành động, thường để tập trung sự chú ý, kêu gọi người đọc có hành động nào đó theo mục đích của bạn. Thêm được icon cho khối, chèn văn bản cùng với trình soạn thảo WYSIWYG. Đặc biệt cũng thêm được nút bấm vào khối.

Cách cài đặt để page được chỉnh sửa bằng WPBakery Page Builder
Cách cài đặt WPBakery Page Builder
B1: Chọn WPBakery Page Builder → Role Manager
B2: Chọn phần Role Manager, mục Post types thì sẽ có 3 lựa chọn là Pages Only, Custom và Disabled thì chọn Custom
B3: Nó sẽ liệt kê các dạng trang như post, page, product… tùy thuộc vào page bạn thuộc dạng trang nào thì tích dấu vào ô đó.
B4: Nhấn Save Changes để lưu
B5: Trên thanh đen của web sẽ có dòng chữ Edit with WPBakery Page Builder là thành công và có thể chỉnh sửa trang với WPBakery Page Builder
